Eyelash Extensions/Lift

Contraindications

  • Contagious or eye infection disorder Eg. Conjunctivitis

  • Hypersensitive skin

  • Stye (an abscess filled with puss caused by staphylococcus bacteria)

  • Swelling of the eyes

  • Cancer

  • Herpes

  • Cuts or open wounds in the area

  • Epilepsy

  • Claustrophobia

  • Semi-Permanent make up Eg. eyeliner (healed after 4 weeks)

  • Allergic to  to eyelash extension adhesive

Pre Treatment

  • Please arrive to your appointment with clean eyes and all eye makeup removed. Any eye makeup, or remnants thereof will prevent a secure bond. If you come to your appointment with debris on your eyelashes, a portion of your total appointment time will be deducted for pre-treatment-cleansing and may result in sub-par results.

  • Do not curl your eyelashes or wear waterproof cosmetics for a minimum of 3 days prior to your service.

  • Waterproof products are drying and leave a waxy barrier on the lashes regardless of how well they are washed.

  • Do not wear contact lenses to your appointment. Please remember to wear your glasses.

  • Avoid caffeinated beverages (coffee, tea, soda, energy drinks) before your appointment, as caffeine can cause your eyes to flutter involuntarily. And this makes it quite difficult for the artist to do their job. Enjoy the opportunity to take a few moments of your day to comfortably relax and be pampered.

  • Do not spray tan 48 hours before your lash appointment.

Post Treatment

  • No water can come in contact with the eye area for 24 hours after the application

  • No oil based products around the eye area

  • Do not perm, curl and tint your lashes

  • Not to sleep on lashes

  • Do not touching and rubbing the eyelashes to avoid permanent hair loss. Be gentle. And using a lash wand

  • Should any kind of eye drops be necessary, extra care should be taken to prevent moisture coming into contact with the eyelash extension

  • Avoid steam rooms and hot shower/ saunas for at least 48 hours

  • Do not wearing mascara, foundation and eyeliner on eyelids. If the lashes come into contact with these products, the bond of the adhesive can weaken and cause premature shedding of the extensions.

  • Wash eyelash extensions every day or at least twice a week with a lash shampoos or eyelid cleanser. It is important to wash the roots and skin between the eyelashes, not the tips of the extensions. If dust, oils and make up stuck on the eyelid, it will effect on natural lashes health cause lash damage, premature lash lost or and infection

  • Brush lashes daily, only when fully dry. Only touch lashes with spoolie to avoid oil transfer

  • Do not use cotton wipes to wipes the eyelashes area, because it will catch the extension and pull them out.

  • Heat like hair dryer or BBQ, oven may burn the extensions

  • Do not pull on your lashes nor rub your eyes frequently

  • Never attempt to remove your eyelash extensions by yourself

  • To extend the life of your lashes, please schedule touch-ups every 2-3 weeks.
